“Squash In No Time” (Group Lessons) Sept 2010
Posted by ESL Administrator in Clinics on August 15th, 2010
“Squash In No Time” is a 4 week crash course designed for players that are interested in joining the Edmonton Squash League. The classes are designed for players with some squash experience but are unfamiliar with how Interclub works, refereeing and scorekeeping. These classes will be a good introduction to Interclub to give players a good start when joining a team in October. We will also help assess skill levels to recommend where players should be placed AND will help them to find a team if needed. Courses for 2010 are as follow:
Fort Saskatchewan Squash Club – Tues nights Sept 7, 14, 21, 28th 7-8:30pm
Riverbend Athletic Club – Wed nights Sept 8, 15, 22, 29th 7-8:30pm

“PARS” for the 2010 – 2011 Season
Posted by ESL Administrator in League Play on September 3rd, 2009
FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON: PARS to 15 will be played in the Edmonton Squash League in all levels with the exception of Men’s Level 1 who will play to PARS to 11.
Here’s a short summary of how PARS to 15 works:
- A match consists of best three games out of five.
- The winner of a rally scores a point, regardless of who had the serve.
- The first player to reach 15 points by a margin of two points or more wins the game.
- If the score is tied 14 – 14, the player who reached 14 points first will call either set one or set three. If set one is called, the player who wins the next point (reaching 15) wins the game. If set three is called, the player who reaches 17 points first wins the game.
